When she climbed through a window to reach her own dad, SHE got arrested for trespassing. Then she was told, THROUGH THE DOORBELL, that he was no longer alive and that the NURSE who "took care of him" actually now OWNED HER DAD'S HOUSE. This happened in Conway, South Carolina, and it will make your blood boil. Her name is Nora Rowland. His name was Robert Rowland. His friends called him Bob. He was 75, living in Conway, with Parkinson's and a brain injury. Classified by the state as a vulnerable adult. His daughter Nora is a daddy's girl. They FaceTimed every week. In March 2024, a caregiver named Sarah Smalls started coming to the house through Griswold Home Care. Within WEEKS, Bob was moved into a senior living facility. By April, Smalls had power of attorney. On April 17th, a quitclaim deed transferred Bob's home to Smalls. ...for FIVE DOLLARS!!!!!!!! The notary on the deed? Her SISTER. Then, police say, she started draining his accounts. More than $17,000 in cash withdrawals. Transfers to her Cash App. Money kept moving even after he was NO LONGER LIVING!!!!!!! In May, she allegedly lied on federal housing forms, swearing she had no assets, no real estate, no cash... while sitting on a FREE HOUSE!!!!!! Nora stopped hearing from her dad. Father's Day came and went. Silence. So she got in the car and drove from Maryland. New locks on the front door. A Ring camera that hadn't been there before. She pressed the button. Smalls answered through the speaker. "This isn't the way that I wanted to tell you, but your dad is de*d, and there's a bunch of other stuff I have to tell you too. Just wait there." Nora climbed through the emergency window. Her dad's house was gone. Photos of strangers on the walls. Rooms painted highlighter orange. A whole new family moved in. Then Smalls came home and called the police. ...on the daughter. "They put me and my partner in handcuffs immediately," Nora said. "I just kept saying, 'I don't know what's going on; this is my dad's house. My dad is dead.'" Conway police charged her with second-degree burglary. For entering her FATHER'S HOME!!!!!! A neighbor told them on bodycam he'd been worried for weeks. Furniture moving out. Bob disappearing. "You could've talked him into just about anything." He said he'd even called senior services. Nobody listened. AND IT GETS WORSE. It took TWO YEARS before anyone was charged. Monday, Conway police finally arrested Smalls. Breach of trust. Perjury. Exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Tuesday, a judge set bond: $20,000, $20,000, and $5,000. She posted it and walked out that afternoon Her first court date is December 11th. She's home free until then. Nora is STILL in civil court fighting to get her father's house back. The deed is still in the caretakers name... ...EVEN THOUGH SHE IS CHARGED WITH EXPLOITING THE VERY MAN SHE TOOK THE HOUSE FROM!!!!!!

RT @mattvanswol (Matt Van Swol): 🚨#BREAKING: Six "jailers" have been FIRED after a White inmate in a South Carolina jail run by a Black man DIED OF THIRST on the floor of his cell... covered INCHES-DEEP IN FECES, with the water to his sink SHUT OFF. He drank out of his OWN TOILET to survive He wrote letters to his father pleading for help because he was being tortured because he was White. His name was Gary "Bubba" Blair, he was 43. He was the caregiver for his own elderly father. He had two nephews he adored and a dog named Scrubby. So why was he in jail? In February, Bubba showed up at his sister's house wearing a sheriff's office golf shirt, a security badge, handcuffs, and pepper spray. Deputies arrested him for impersonating a police officer. A judge found he wasn't mentally competent to stand trial and ORDERED the state to place him into treatment on June 3. The South Carolina Office of Mental Health never followed through. Bubba sat in that jail for 181 days waiting for a spot. He passed away 51 days after a judge ordered them to get him help. In April, he write a letter to his father: "I've lost about 90 pounds so far. I'm starving to death in here; only two meals a day, that's it... you starve, and I also have to drink from my toilet and no mattress to sleep on, only a hard ground." "I’ve been abused by staff and assaulted by everyone on the unit; I had to go 28 days without a shower... no help for a white man" "The staff is very nasty to white inmates thanks to Troy Ellerbe and James Dixon." Then in May, Bubba did something that will haunt me. He wrote a letter to a CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE begging for help. The letter had a bad address. It was returned. It never arrived. Meanwhile, sources say the water to his sink was SHUT OFF. His cell floor and walls were covered in feces INCHES DEEP. He was alone. Never let out. Other inmates, who got a few hours out of their cells, told the news they watched Bubba drink toilet water. So they took an empty potato chip bag and filled it with water and pushed it through the food slot in his door!!!!! Most of it spilled before it ever reached him. On July 24th, jailers found him dead on the floor. 49 days later, the autopsy came back. Cause of death: profound dehydration due to DEPRIVATION OF WATER. Manner of death: HOMICIDE. The report also found bed sores on his HEELS, consistent with a man lying on a concrete floor for days at a time. Acute bronchial pneumonia. Profound weight loss. Physical evidence that he had been INGESTING TOILET WATER. He had lost so much weigh and was in such poor condition, his sister and aunt went to the funeral home to see him... they did not recognize his body. The sheriff fired the Black jail administrator 5 days after Bubba died, and refuses to say why. Bubba Blair sang to old folks in nursing homes. He took care of his daddy. He deserved so much better than dying of thirst on a concrete floor. PEOPLE BEING FIRED IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!! THIS IS CRIMINAL!!!!!!! Say his name. Gary "Bubba" Blair. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!
