RT @asegovia9 (Alicia Segovia): The masterstroke of anti-Israel propaganda was not just rewriting the history of the conflict into slogan-size proclamations (“baby-killers,” “stolen land,” “apartheid state,” etc.) but, above all, convincing so many people that they can and must take a firm position on the conflict. Huge numbers now feel entitled and qualified to express themselves publicly about it. This is unique: few would speak with such force about the Yemeni or Sudanese civil wars, the situation in Syria, or the Armenia–Azerbaijan war, or even Ukraine-Russia, for example. That difference reveals that the intense energy around Israel–Palestine has extraneous causes—chiefly that much Arab propaganda rests on an antisemitic framework, so the slogans easily awaken old, dormant antisemitic prejudices that animate people. #antisemitism ##israel #antizionism
