Because national security shouldn't depend on a billionaire's mood swings. 👏 https://t.co/ezIgJseT2K

My Poems #Musk #Tesla #Trump #PutinAtHaag #Warcrimes #PutinWarCrimes https://t.co/F4Ec0ymO6W QT @MykhailoRohoza (Mykhailo Rohoza) 🇺🇸🇺🇦 BUT WHO REALLY ORDERED THE STARLINK RESTRICTIONS IN UKRAINE? US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of not understanding the restrictions affecting satellite communications used by Ukraine’s military. Speaking at Joint Base Andrews, Rubio categorically denied that the White House had ordered limitations on Starlink terminals installed on Ukrainian high-speed drones. According to Rubio, nobody in Washington deliberately slowed the system, and the problem somehow appeared on its own before supposedly being resolved. But Zelenskyy tells a very different story. On October 17, Ukraine’s president stated that the restrictions remained in place, preventing Ukrainian forces from effectively deploying high-speed interceptor drones against Russian jet-powered Shaheds. Ukraine even conducted its own experiment. Vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals traveled through European Union countries at speeds exceeding 180 km/h, and communications continued working normally. In Ukraine, however, connections reportedly disappeared when terminal speeds reached approximately 161 km/h. Same equipment, different countries, different results. “We have recordings. We have evidence,” Zelenskyy said, concluding that the restrictions appeared deliberate. These disruptions are not merely technical inconveniences. They directly affect Ukraine’s ability to defend civilians against Russian attacks and supply frontline soldiers with food, water, and essential equipment. Ukrainian military personnel first reported serious problems on October 14. Communications reportedly disappeared during drone flights, sometimes at speeds of just 110–120 km/h, forcing some combat missions to be canceled. Ukrainian defense technology adviser Serhii Beskrestnov, known as Flash, explained that Ukraine had recently developed an effective solution against Russian jet-powered Shaheds traveling faster than 400 km/h. Then, suddenly, that solution stopped working. Initial disruptions were reportedly addressed after contacting SpaceX, but the speed restrictions remained. Meanwhile, Rubio introduced another contradiction. He claimed Ukraine has no access to Starshield, describing it as a separate military product intended for the US Department of Defense. Yet Ukrainian military representatives explicitly identify their communications package as Starshield. On October 15, Reuters reported, citing American and Western officials, that instructions to restrict Starshield had originated at the White House and reached Pentagon leadership. The sources did not identify who made the decision, while a senior American official denied that Trump personally issued the order. Trump himself also denied responsibility. “It wasn’t me, and I don’t think it was Elon.” Elon Musk, meanwhile, has distinguished commercial Starlink from military Starshield, explaining that restrictions affecting the latter are ultimately determined by American military authorities and the president. So who made the decision? Ukraine reports restrictions, Ukrainian soldiers describe their consequences, Zelenskyy presents testing results, and American officials deny responsibility. Nobody provides a convincing explanation. The controversy comes amid serious disagreements between Washington and Kyiv over Ukrainian strikes against Russian oil refineries. However, direct evidence linking those disputes to the satellite restrictions has not been established. Ukraine is now exploring alternative satellite systems, including European OneWeb, while attempting to restore reliable high-speed communications. And Rubio wants everyone to believe Zelenskyy simply doesn't understand what he is talking about? Zelenskyy understands perfectly well. He understands that Ukrainian soldiers are dying, that Russian drones continue attacking Ukrainian cities, and that restrictions on Ukraine’s defensive capabilities have consequences measured in human lives.

My Poem from today 😡🇺🇸😡 #Musk #Tesla #Trump #PutinAtHaag https://t.co/0XOq8H1dnY QT @carlbildt (Carl Bildt) This gets difficult. 🇺🇸 threatens action against Europe if it restricts Starlink, but at the same time Starlink restricts use for the defence of a European country 🇺🇦. Europe needs sovereignty - not submission.
