She no longer has an absolute majority in the EU Parliament, as she would have needed 361 MEPs for that. However, many MEPs preferred to stay away from the vote on the motion of censure. Although there was no majority for the motion, Von der Leyen's weakness is now clear for all to see. If it had been a question of her election as Commission President today, she would have failed. She would have been one vote short. As their opponents, we have also achieved a notable success. Almost a third of the MEPs who voted today voted in favor of the motion. This is a great success, which we owe to our colleague MEP Piperea and, of course, to our ESN Group, from which almost 50% of those supporting the motion came. I am sure that this will not be the last motion of censure against this failed #EU Commission and its President Ursula von der Leyen. We will soon see the next motion. This time, von der Leyen got away with it because she bought the votes of the Greens and the Left with concessions from the EU budget. Things will be different next time...

@Statsmin Ukraine er et selvskabt isoleret problem udenfor #EU. Misbruges af MF til international karriere fremme. #dkpol har været afrustet i årtier uden angreb fra #Putin - som nu efter oprustning vil angribe? Det giver ingen mening ❗️ Imens sejler ældreplejen, sundhedsvæsenet og skoler!
